Here is how it works
Using trained personnel, advanced surveying techniques and a professional pre-tested questionnaire the Dental Insider Benchmark Survey™ gives you insider information and insights to power up your marketing program to meet the growing expectations of current and future patients.

We start by surveying your patient database. To reach a statistically accurate picture, we call and professionally survey approximately ½ long term and new patients who have visited the practice in the last year and ½ long-term patients who have not been to the practice in over a year, for a total of about 150 completed phone interviews. Note that this is not a handout or web-based program. It is a professional, phone based survey.

In addition, this is a blind survey. So that we can get candid reactions to our questions, respondents are not told that you are involved with this program.

SPECIAL FEATURE: In addition to your individual results we will be surveying patients from practices around the country and including this national aggregate statistical information in your final report. The ability to compare the responses from practices around the country with the responses from your survey adds significant insights to your results, giving you a powerful marketing advantage.

Result presentation
Once the information is collected we analyze the results and prepare a report that includes an executive summary, recommendations and the raw data. We then present the information directly to you either in a phone conference or a “go to meeting” format. This insures that you have the opportunity to ask questions and gain a greater insight into the results. It also gives you the opportunity to discuss what “next steps” would be most advantageous for your practice.

Costs
Direct survey programs like this can be very expensive easily costing $5,000 to $7,000…. Even at that cost you would have just the information specific to your practice and would not have the national comparison (aggregate) rankings. FAQ’s

“We do our own surveys, what makes this different?”… Many practices talk about conducting patient surveys but never quite get around to it. If you do conduct patient satisfaction surveys, either as a mailer or with an online program, congratulations. What we are presenting however, is simply not the same thing. First, this is a blind survey which means your patients don’t know you are the one surveying them. This is the only way to get the kind of candid responses that mean so much to your bottom line. Second, we are using telephone interviews rather than mail back or internet surveys. This gives us a truer random sample for more accurate responses. And finally, we have trained interviewers with the verbal skills to make the process pleasant and effective.

“What about patient privacy issues?” … Because there is no medical information being distributed there is no violation of HIPPA regulations. Additionally all lists are held in strict confidence and will be destroyed once the survey is completed. In addition, because this is a survey, “do not call” regulations do not apply.

“My patients love me. Why should I do this?”… It’s great that you have a good rapport with your patients. In some cases that can even be a detriment to them telling you things you may not want to hear, particularly when it comes to team members and procedures.

”Not sure I really want to know”… After completing several surveys it is clear that even the best run practice can never rest on its laurels. What you don’t know could be hurting your business.
